Thanksgiving

I love Thanksgiving! Food, family, traditions all adds up to one great holiday. This year we decided to host Thanksgiving and make the turkey. I have never bought, looked at, cooked or have done anything with an uncooked turkey before so I was a little nervous. I didn't even notice until Thanksgiving morning that I didn't own a roasting pan so you can imagine my lack of experience with cooking. Thanks to a lot of help from Eric and lots of calls to my Mom we made one delicious turkey.
I was looking around the house for things we could use for the table and noticed I had a ton of cloth napkins. Since I had a budget of nothing I attempted to fold the napkins and I think they turned out pretty cool.

Everyone came and we had a full house it was great. I don't think a holiday is a holiday unless you have at least ten screaming children running around. But we all had a fantastic Thanksgiving!

Eric had to use this platter! And Garrett took the picture!

THANK YOU! THAK YOU! THANK YOU!

I wanted to thank everyone who donated or helped fundraise for the 2008 3 day walk. Thanks to your support we were able to raise over $2000! The Arizona walk raised 5.2 million and it is great to know we were able to help make a difference. This was one of the hardest tasks I have ever taken on. I was well outside my comfort zone and I really had to push myself to keep going. However, I was able to accomplish more than I ever thought I was able to. This has been an incredible experience and one I will never forget. So... I say to everyone THANK YOU!

HALLOWEEN

This years Halloween we tried something new. We got together with some friends and went Trick or Treating in the square. Garrett's favorite part was the fire fighters. He went up to all of them and begged for candy. He truley was a pirate. Caroline stayed in the stroller all bundled up you couldn't even see her cute Tinkerbell costume. All in all it was really fun!

Isn't this the cutest expression!

In Caroline's candy bag she got some mini m&ms. It was her first time eating m&m's and she went crazy, I think she ate the whole package in about thirty seconds and kept screaming for more. Garrett has gone candy crazy. We had to hide his halloween stash above the dryer in the laundry room. Now he knocks on the laundry door and says, "Trick or Treat."
